      Regenerative medicine research involves development and optimization of cell therapy approaches. AccelLAB’s regenerative medicine laboratory offers a variety of molecular and cellular biology techniques allowing for evaluation of cell therapy.

      Isolation and production of adult progenitor/stem cells :
      1. Bone marrow harvest from live animals
      2. Isolation of mononuclear cells by Ficoll gradient
      3. In vitro selection and expansion of progenitor/stem cells
      Characterization and potency testing of adult stem cells :
      1. Immunofluorescence staining
      2. In vivo injection of cells for tissue remodeling
      3. Fluorescence cell tracking
      4. Flow Cytometry (i.e. immunophenotyping)
      5. Multilineage differentiation (i.e. Plasticity)
      6. Secretome analysis
      In vitro assays :
      1. Cell proliferation
      2. Sterility testing (bacteria, mycopasma)
      3. Viral transduction
      4. Plasmid-based transfection
